Interim Pastor, Steve Cox

Steve Cox joined the Crosshill Mennonite Church family in December of 2024 and is excited to now serve as Interim Pastor. He is passionate about helping people find wholeness by placing their hands in Jesus' hands. Steve is committed to growing closer to Jesus in every area of life, embracing the adventure of surrendering, following, and participating in Christ’s redemptive work—a journey that fills him with hope, energy, and love.

Steve grew up in downtown Kitchener and earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Feeling called to ministry, he pursued his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto.

Steve’s pastoral journey has included serving as Young Adult Pastor at Agincourt Pentecostal Church in Scarborough, Associate Pastor at Niagara United Mennonite Church in Niagara-on-the-Lake for 12 years, and Lead Pastor at The Gathering Church for over 5 years.

Outside of ministry, Steve enjoys listening to audiobooks, staying active, and spending time with his wife, Christina, and their two energetic boys. He also treasures meaningful conversations over coffee and finding moments of joy in everyday life.

Children’s Ministry Worker, Lora Gerber

Lora is in her 7th year as Children’s Ministry Worker at Crosshill and continues to love it every bit as much as when she first started.

She truly enjoys the time she spends with the children in our congregation. She is always finding ways to spend quality time with them and engage them in meaningful conversation about the love of God.

Lora invites you to consider bringing your child to one of our clubs and/or Sunday School which is held every Sunday following our worship service.

Please reach out for more information about our children/youth programs.
